WIP Wednesday

I have so many WIP's- but I'm most gung-ho about this one at the moment:

My fall scrap hexies! I started this project late last week becuase I have quite a few "hand-stitching" opportunities coming up.
(And believe it or not, I totally missed it once the I-Spy quilt was done!)

The current idea floating around in my head is a table runner, set on this natural colored linen. I tossed this design together for the sake of having something for my post tonight...
But the more I look at it, the more I wish it had a more 'modern' feel to it.
Good thing it's a Work in Progress! ;)

I'm Linking up to Lee's WIP Wednesday!

Also, join the fun for Bogtoberfest!

  1. I like the way you laid out your hexies...it looks like a row of elongated diamonds between two chevrons. That, or a row of flowers between two chevrons.

The colors are so completely fall, too!

  2. Love them - I've been sewing up hexies like mad this week but with a Christmas theme - good luck. I like the layout - almost like leaves turning yellow/orange/brown and floating away!

Can't wait to see the finished product. Good luck!
