A little finish: My March BOM

I was able to *finally* finish my Riley Blake block of the month for March.
Cute, right?

Three down, six to go.
I am still loving the solids.
I can't wait till this is finished.
I have a very special recipient in mind.
She has had a hard year, and has finally been blessed for all of her hard work.

I can't get too specific, because I believe she reads this blog from time to time-
So more to come later this year!

I also have a new WIP to start.
I have been given the opportunity to make a store sample for my little LQS.
They needed something to showcase their line of "Good Morning" from Me and My Sister designs for Moda.
I thought this would be nice for a summer display.
I opted for this pattern that they have in stock:
I felt that it would showcase the large print flowers.

...Maybe someday they will have MY patterns in stock...

I hope you all have a nice evening!

Linking up with Lee for WIP Wednesday.

  1. Lovin' that Good Morning fabric from Me and My Sisters! They make the best stuff. Can't wait to see the end product; should be beautiful!

  2. Love those solids!! The colors remind me of sea glass (which I am kind of obsessed with). Your quilt is going to be beautiful :-)

  3. Churn dash is one of my favorite blocks! Love the solids you are using. How fun to make a shop sample - cute fabrics and pattern you picked.
